It all began with one caring heart!

Thanks to many loving hands that have contributed to our mitten ministry, we have reached 755 pairs of mittens.  We are still aiming to reach our goal of 2000 pairs by mid December of this year.  Our goal may seem lofty given it’s already the end of October, but we aren’t at the finish line yet!  I have faith and believe God can work wonders when our hearts are motivated by His love and we worship Him in all we do. A season for pruning

We have a mountain ash in our backyard that is bursting with berries this year!  Dozens of bright orange clusters heavily weigh down the limbs of our little tree.  The branches are literally drooping, almost touching the ground.  Last year the entire tree produced only one berry cluster so you can imagine my excitement this summer.  Our little tree is flourishing! A Few More Mittens on the Line!

I spent a few rainy afternoons last week knitting mittens and then just couldn’t resist hanging them out on a line once the sunshine broke through the clouds!  I’ve been gravitating towards brighter colours lately and am literally finding new excitement as I create each mitten. Humble steps back down
